I was disappointed not to see nuclear energy in your article. Yes, the large scale reactors are expensive (a lot of this cost is over demonstrating safety) to build and the UK, as an example continues to struggle to make the financial case to build more. Regardless, I’m hopefully of two more LSRs and half a dozen SMRs being built in the UK in the next 20 years.

We cannot ignore any proven clean technology. Can we?
